The two leaders inspected a guard of honor, highlighting the ceremonial aspect of the visit. The national anthems of both countries played, reinforcing the spirit of friendship and cooperation. The occasion was further commemorated with a 21-gun salute and an impressive flypast by the UAE’s Al Fursan aerobatics team, trailing the Russian flag’s colors. In a gesture of respect and alliance, UAE Air Force planes escorted the Russian President’s aircraft as it entered UAE airspace, signifying the importance of the visit.

The reception saw the presence of several high-ranking UAE officials, including Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister; Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; and Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, among others. This assembly of dignitaries underscores the visit’s diplomatic significance.

Accompanying President Putin was a high-level Russian delegation, comprising key ministers and officials. This delegation’s presence emphasizes the depth of discussions likely to cover strategic partnerships and mutual interests. This visit is expected to bolster the already strong ties between the UAE and Russia, with discussions anticipated on various strategic, economic, and cultural topics. The convergence of such high-profile leaders underscores the mutual commitment to enhancing their bilateral relationship.
